NuMathWiki is currently in a pre-release version. It is functional and stable, but has some minor glitches. We hope to officially launch soon. The initial launch version is targeted to work well on ordinary web browsers running on a laptop or desktop; it is not yet optimized for mobile devices.

Following the launch, plans for the near future include:

  * Improve the look of the site: better icons, page design, fonts, a logo
  * Continue to add plugins to improve functionality of wiki pages and enable more advanced article-writing features.
  * Develop a mobile-friendly (phones and tablets) version
  * Add a search feature
  * Add a "recent changes" feature
  * Add a Wikipedia-style user watchlist feature (a list of pages each user marks as being watched so they get notified when those pages have been edited)
  * Add miscellaneous other small features (e.g., enabling a "remember me" feature for persistent login across sessions)

More ambitious long-term plans include:

  * Develop a mobile app (iOS and/or Android) to make the site easily accessible from a mobile device
